The San Luis Valley Museum will be hosting a lecture program/slide show presentation about the mining industry in the valley and south Colorado on Friday, August 16th at 7pm.

The event will be presented by Dr. Rich Loosbrock of ASU, who is a noted authority on the topic. The program is FREE for all and will be at the San Luis Valley Museum, 401 Hunt Avenue, in Alamosa.​​
