Kendall McNeilsmith

Kendall McNeilsmith received his BFA from Adams State University in 2017. Painting is his visual language, and his creativity expresses itself in a stream of consciousness. He plays with the duality of life as his paintings unfold, using the contrasts of light, color and shapes. 

Kendall has grown up in Alamosa and while always creative, he didn't discover his love of painting until his senior year of high school. His creations evoke different emotions and he is delighted when a particular painting speaks to some emotion inside of you. He would rather someone truly be inspired by his art rather than making a profit from it.

An introvert by nature, Kendall relishes traveling to other places and experiencing different cultures. He enjoys meeting people from all walks of life, weather on his travels or at the local bar. He is passionate about all types of music and enjoys multiple genres.

Kendall enjoys the natural beauty of the San Luis Valley and makes his home in Alamosa, Colorado with his loyal Blue-tick
hound dog Bailey.
